The SWR 7′s boys selections have NOT been sent out, we thank you for your patience in this matter, and are doing our best to send them out ASAP

The dates you will need to book off should you be selected are: April 22nd and April 28th (both from 9am- 6pm), at Chatham Kent Secondary School in Chatham

This is your first step towards “Tackling the Podium” at the 2016 summer Olympics, as a new sport added to the Olympics, Rugby 7′s will make its debut in 2016 and Ontario and Canada are ramping  up training and identification of Talent in order to be competitive!

Do you have SPEED, NATURAL ATHLETIC ability, ATHLETIC BUILD, were your born in 1995 or 1996
do you learn new sports quickly?

Then 7′s is for you!

1) Select an Identification Clinic to attend (Ensure you live in the following region) west of Waterloo, including but not limited to: Grey Bruce area, Windsor, Chatham-kent, and Sarnia, Norfolk, Walkerton, Palmerston, Meaford, Flesherton, Owensound, Kincardine, Wingham, and Clinton
at each Clinic you will be tested on the following: 40 M Sprint time, YO-YO Test (cardio endurance), Broad Jump (standing long jump), and Agility Test

2)Ensure you are born in either 1995 or 1996

Should you be selected for the Southwest Region 7′s U16 team (male or female) you will participate in the 2012 Summer Games in August 16, 17, and 18 (tentative)
